Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mamma Mafia website, mobile applications, and services (the "Services"). By creating an account or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to update it as needed. You are responsible for the content you post and for ensuring it does not violate these Terms or any applicable law.
Membership and payments
Certain features require a paid membership. Membership fees, billing cycles, and tier benefits are displayed before purchase. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change fees with reasonable notice.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Services to harass, discriminate against, or harm others; post content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes another's rights; impersonate another person; misuse community features such as messaging, chapters, or the swap marketplace; attempt to disrupt or compromise the security of the platform; or use the Services for any commercial purpose other than as expressly permitted (for example, listing a member business in good faith).
User content
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Services. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display that content within the Services for the purpose of operating and promoting them. You are solely responsible for your content and represent that you have all necessary rights to submit it.
Sister Economy and marketplace
Features such as Sister Swap, Sister Biz, and Merch may facilitate transactions or connections between members and third parties. We provide the platform but are not a party to transactions between members. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any listing, business, or transaction. You transact at your own risk and are responsible for resolving disputes directly with the other party.
Health and wellness content
Content provided through My Body and related features is for educational and navigation purposes only. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding your health. Your use of such content is at your sole risk.
Intellectual property
The Services, including the Mamma Mafia name, logo, content, and software, are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent, except as permitted by these Terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. You may close your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Services.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless your local consumer law provides otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the app or by other means. Your continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
